I'm so excited to share my session from this weekend with y'all! This little beauty is 6 month old Olivia. Since the family rides and shows their horses, I thought we would incorporate that into our photo session! So, I met the family at their grandparent's home in Nesbit, Mississippi and I think it was the perfect location choice for them. Here is a sneek peak of our great session together. 
If you're like my husband, you may not want to be thinking anything about Christmas, yet. But we all know it is coming! Photos of loved ones are the perfect gift for moms, dads and grandparents. Waaay better than an impersonal gift card and you know they will love them! I'm busy working on the card designs and will have them ready soon. Until then, here are a couple of examples of the cards I have ready. They are 5x7 flat cards, front and back designs and come with envelopes.

This bridal session was held on a sweltering August day. I don't remember the exact temp, but I know there was a heat index warning that day! In fact, we even had to change our location choice at the last minute due to the heat. The bed and breakfast we were scheduled to use that day was booked full, so we would only be able to shoot OUTSIDE! We scrapped that idea quickly. It worked out for the best, though, because since we stayed in Senatobia for the session, we were able to use their friend's cool, old 1932 Ford for some shots.
I was not the wedding photographer for this bride, as they had already commissioned another photographer before they heard about me. But I'm so glad they booked me for the bridal session. Jessica was a beautiful bride and I absolutely loved our session together. It was great meeting her and her family. Thanks so much, y'all. Best wishes for you and your new husband. :)

Yesterday, I had a really fun engagement session with a great couple and lots of glorious, golden evening light! Jana and Matt were so easy-going, fun and up for anything. After walking miles around downtown Memphis with me, I had the nerve to suggest climbing a mountainous river bluff for the sunset shots they wanted to get. They didn't even hesitate, they just said ok, let's go! Awesome. They were so sweet and cute together..I'm really looking forward to their wedding day! :)

This was my 2nd time to photograph this little guy and what a charmer he is! Gorgeous blue eyes. I think he had fun, too. He showed me how high he can throw a baseball and how fast he can go on his bike. I was absolutely impressed. :)

Newborns are one of my favorite types of sessions. They're a lot of work and much patience is required, but the results are so beautiful they melt my heart. :)

And one of big brother..isn't he handsome?? He was so well mannered, too. I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with them. :) 
April and Gabe were married at 211 Main, a really cool venue in an old, quaint building in Como, Mississippi. I loved the old, exposed brick walls and the courtyard was nice for formals. This was my first time to see a candy table at a wedding reception and I thought it was the sweetest (pun intended!) thing! Loved it!
